Having served as either the President, Chairman of the Board, Board Member, or General Manager for more than 30 businesses in 10 different countries, it's clear - no matter the organization or location, Lee gets things done.
Lee's Story
Though it may seem cliché, Lee started his career in business the old fashioned way - by opening a lemonade stand. For him, it was a simple decision: he wanted a new bicycle and he needed to earn enough money to buy one. And from that point on, he has been all business. Lee lives his life by the mantra "lead by example" and focuses on doing what is right, not what is easy. And Lee has taken anything but the easy route through life. He spent his late teens in the United States Army in order to pay for college, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics from Pennsylvania State University. After a decade in international business Lee returned to school and earned a Master of Business Administration from IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland.
He spent the bulk of his career - 18 years of it - moving his way through and making changes throughout Maersk, the world's largest container shipping company and logistics provider with offices in more than 125 countries and 60,000 employees worldwide. Lee's insight and advice was key in creating strategies and implementing change to affect results at all levels of the company.
He worked in Maersk's U.S., Chile, Korea, Central America, and Latin America locations and contributed to nearly every component of their organization - from business and product development to employee relationships and market expansion. He built relationships with and grew key global customers, generating approximately $300 million in additional annual revenue; he established 4 new service offerings for 3 international markets, bringing in $500 million in additional revenue; he located and built their new Central America headquarters in Panama City, Panama from the ground up; he implemented major change management programs covering groups as large as 5,000; he played a significant role in two major acquisitions and he spearheaded the development of new key talent management and general HR practices that resulted in the Central America region being used as a role model for the global organization.

A bit of a travel bug, Lee has visited all 50 states and has worked on 5 of the 7 continents. Not to mention he has surfed Easter Island. You could say Lee's life has been one big adventure.
