As communications manager, Kaitlin King sees each interaction as an opportunity to improve someone’s business. She knows that fully understanding each person’s needs is the best starting point, whether working with clients or Collaboration team members.

When Kaitlin joined Collaboration, she brought special insight with her. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, she saw both the benefits and challenges of business ownership. After starting her own career, she had many opportunities to use the knowledge she’d absorbed as she wrote for a newspaper and managed small businesses.

Kaitlin also has a creative side, as evidenced by her art degree and talent for jewelry design. Collaboration puts Kaitlin’s skills and creativity to good use in a position that definitely uses both sides of her brain.

Overseeing internal communication among Collaboration’s team and keeping a large network of clients, businesses, and community members informed about programs and services keeps Kaitlin busy. She also oversees program coordination and works with clients, analyzing which services they need and helping determine which consultant they will work well with.

Kaitlin enjoys being part of an organization that demonstrates its core beliefs and successful methods every day. She feels valued as a member of a friendly, solution-focused group where energy is high and everyone’s ideas are welcomed.
