Business advisor Kristen Yetter acts as a sounding board, provides feedback and asks questions that encourage Collaboration’s partners and staff to approach things from new angles.

Kristen, president and general manager at Promega Biosciences, has been a fan of Collaboration since getting to know founder Michael Gunther through various community outreach programs. In addition to the individual contributions each makes throughout the region, Kristen and Michael have worked together in the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce Leadership program and both are members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

Being an advisor to her colleagues at Collaboration gives Kristen another way to give back to her community. She saw the value of Collaboration’s services first hand when Michael Gunther acted as consultant to her management team. Now, by supporting Collaboration, Kristen gets to be part of something she believes in.

“Collaboration helps businesses step back, look at the big picture, and envision where they’re going. Then they make sure the tools are in place to allow them to achieve that vision. I appreciate how they do this for others. As a bonus, being involved reminds me to keep my own goals in focus and my mind open to new lessons.”
