WorkTraits founder Mark Vickers loves hearing enthusiastic business owners talk about increased productivity, compatible work environments and lower employee turnover. It means his efforts have paid off.

Mark's experience as an organizational and behavioral consultant, combined with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and several years in education as a Professor of Leadership, convinced him a market existed for online assessment and training tools that could coach individuals to communicate more effectively and reduce interpersonal conflicts.

Today Mark focuses his efforts on creating reports, profiles and training materials. He writes training documentation for resellers, human resource specialists, managers and individual employees. With an eye always on efficiency and convenience, his goal is to fine-tune each piece to provide just what the reader needs and nothing more.

When people ask how Collaboration and WorkTraits came together, Mark explains that he was first introduced to Collaboration as a new business owner. With out of state partners, he wanted a little extra support from local people who could help him launch WorkTraits effectively. After learning about WorkTraits, Collaboration gave it a test drive and was soon using it to help clients.

As the relationship between WorkTraits and Collaboration grew, it reinforced a core idea for leaders of both companies: getting professional help in subjects outside their area of expertise saves business owners from unnecessary frustration and expense. Now, Collaboration works to market, distribute and provide support for WorkTraits, while the WorkTraits team continues to develop and expand their offerings.
